Texts from Scout

Scout is the FieldMatrix farm assistant. Farmers who opt in text Scout about their fields, weather, grain and markets, and Scout texts back.

How to opt in

When you join FieldMatrix from a farmer's invitation link, check the box that starts "Text me from FieldMatrix." It is unchecked by default and not required to join. Members already on FieldMatrix can turn on "Texts from Scout" in Settings. Scout sends a welcome text, plus one setup question for a new farm, then nothing else until you reply.
