As a result, farmers often rely on informal conversations, personal experience and incomplete information when making important decisions.

FieldMatrix changes that by bringing together real-world data from multiple farms within the same region, analyzing growing conditions, management practices and actual results, all while protecting individual farm identities.

Benchmark fields.

We separate what you can’t control: your CSR2 soil rating, the rain that fell in your area and the growing degree units your crop got. Fields that share those are your benchmark fields.

Then we compare you with everyone else in your area who farms the same ground in the same weather, and look for the differences in yield. Those differences are management practices. With enough data, you can see what works well, and what doesn’t, in your specific area.
